Deseret Hive Supply Return Policy

Deseret Hive Supply is a small, local business, and we truly appreciate every customer who chooses to support us. Our return policy is designed to be fair to our customers while allowing us to continue offering quality products and services to the beekeeping community.


Returns

  • Most items may be returned within 30 days of purchase with a receipt.

  • Items should be new, unused, and in original condition.


Live Bee Purchases

Because live bees require special care, returns for the following items must be discussed with us directly within 48 hours of pickup or delivery:

  • 3 lb Bee Packages

  • 5-Frame Nucleus (Nuc) Hives

  • Mated Queen Bees

If there are any concerns with a live bee order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can work with you to find the best solution.


Refunds

  • Refunds are typically issued back to the original form of payment.

  • In some cases, in-store credit may be offered.


Online Orders

  • Online returns may include a processing or restocking fee, which is clearly shown during checkout.

  • This fee is deducted from the refund amount.


Shipping Returns

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method.


Processing Time

  • Refunds may take 2–14 business days to process, depending on your payment provider.

  • Refunds during holiday periods may take additional time.


In-Store Credit

  • In-store credit is valid through the end of the calendar year in which it is issued.

  • Credits are maintained in our system under your checkout information (name and/or phone number).
