Helpful Tip

If the feeder runs empty or the syrup level becomes very low, bees may congregate beneath the safety screen and have difficulty finding their way back, which can increase the risk of drowning. Applying a small bead of food-grade caulking along the bottom edge of the screen can help guide bees and improve safety.
